Arrived at the camp site, and it turns out there were actually people staying in our room, but not to panic, they'd just got us mixed up! I say room but really they were wooden cabins with bunk beds again...SHOCK! No air con this time though so that will be interesting in the heat!
BARCELONA OLAY
Upon driving into Barca we had a quick tour of the city and then went on to visit the cathedral! Shame that it's still being renovated, but it was seriously impressive and a definite place to visit! Next it was time to check in to our hostel! Which was really cool...bunk beds, except there was no room for 4 girls suitcases and only one little mirror next to the shower! Safe to say we all got to know each other very well!
Chateau of regrets
You may be wondering why I have called this post the Chateau of regret! Haha long story short after a full packed 3 days in Paris, everyone welcomed the next day and a half of just chilling in a stunning chateau and may or may not have just ran a little bit wild! But more of that later!
Au Revoir Parii
Our last day in Paris and it's bound to be a banger! Obviously Dora had her plans set for the free day and was eager to get going! First stop was the infamous Louvre! Feeling like James Bond, we went down a secret set of stairs (it's actually just to get under the museum, but we will call them secret to enhance the drama) which meant we skipped the queues and went in a different entrance!
Climax of the tower
Apologies for the delay! It's been a pretty full on few days...a few days that actually feel like a lifetime, and strangers from the other side of the world that seem to be turning into family!
So I may have said au revouir to France and Hola to Spain as I write this, but I've got lots to catch you up on so I'm going to rewind! So day two in Parii!! Presented us with a trip to Versailles! I'm not going to lie, initially this wasn't something I intended to do or really knew existed (oops) but I'm so glad we went, the gardens were beautiful and MASSIVE! I can't imagine what it would have been like to live there, like... Just going to walk the dog, be back in 2 days, bye! Seriously, that big!
Dora travels to Paris
Okay so I've done it, I've made it to Paris and made friends along the way, result! Despite being the 'new girl' who everyone just saw through the window (as they put it) as she got on at Dover... I've now met a whole coach of people! Most of whom are Kiwi (which I've learnt means you're from New Zealand) and Australian, oh and one American. Then there are a couple of us Brits trickled through and the odd Canadian.
Dora takes Europe
Okay so in about 8 hours I will be starting my new adventure, I know I should be sleeping but I'm determined to actually blog about this exciting excursion and not miss anything out. So instead I'll give you the full low down on where I'm off to! Actually the image below pretty much does that all for me, so you can see each place I'll be visiting on my Euro Trip and the amount of time I'm spending in each :)
