I thought so get the ball rolling I'd start off by doing a few posts on my summer, which I'm sure will feel like forever ago for everyone, with snow nearly looming and christmas trees popping up everywhere! However I feel its only fair to pick up where I left off as to not leave you out!
Let me take you back to June 6th 2014!
I'd just finished uni, had my final hand in and was SO ready for the summer season. What better way to kick it off than to let my hair down (in the rain unfortunately), put my wellies on and dance my bum off at a festival. I present to you PARKLIFE 2014!
Possibly THE BEST festival I have been to! (well this is before the end of my summer so this reaction changes slightly, but it sill was amazing!). Despite the stubborn rain on the first day I had an incredible 2 days with my best pal Gwyn up in sunny Manchester where we seriously did dance our calories away along with all the cares in the world!
Highlight acts, and there are a little bit of a list, are as follows *drum roll please* SAM SMITH (obviously, him singing in the rain couldn't have been written for a film any better!), Rudimental - every time!!!!, Katy B, Annie Mac (what a babe!), Snoop Dog - the best person known to man!, Ella Eyre (although this was my first time seeing her, it was like love at first sight!), London Grammar - you already know my love for them!, Bastille, Clean Bandit, Beck Hill, and the highlight for everyone I think DISCLOSURE! They were absolutely amazing, the best live I have ever seen!
After partying all day and night, we were put up by the lovely likes of my Grandma! The only way to describe going to a festival and coming back to your Nans house is "BIZARE" but it actually worked really well... she always had our breakfast ready in the morning! She's an absolute babe!
