"there's no such thing as too many clothes!"

I have to say, firstly I'm very sorry to have been lagging on my blog, especially this page - seeing as I go shopping pretty much every week I have been awful at keeping you lot informed on my purchases!

BUT HAVE NO FEAR . . . I AM BACK! :)

Sorry for the bad quality of the photos, they are from my phone, oopsy!!
Here are a few little pictures of the things I've been buying on my travels - for more regular updates add my instagram - mini_monts

BEST BUY OF THE SUMMER

Retro Sunglasses

Camden Market - £5

Topshop and other retail stores sell very similar sunglasses to these, but at 4 or 5 times the price, and if you're like me and are forever loosing or breaking your sunglasses, there is no way you want to be spending £25 quid every time! (unless its Raybans - we all make exceptions for Raybans).

Left to Right

New Look
Topshop
New Look

I have to say I love necklaces, and always get asked where they are from so even though these 3 are a little old, I thought I would share it with you.

I have new necklace purchases further down :)

MUST HAVE SHIRT FOR SUMMER

SO SO SO IN LOVE WITH THIS!!

Shirt - Topshop - £40

ALL PURCHASED IN CAMDEN :)

I AM IN LOVE WITH CAMDEN!!

Top left - Over Sized Blazer, Black and White Checked, Vintage Shop
Top right - Black and White Tweed Cropped Jacket - Vintage Shop

2 for 1 - £20

Bottom left - Velvet, Gold Stitched, Oversized Waistcoat - Vintage Shop £15

Bottom right - Red and White Pinstripe Dungarees - Vintage Shop £20

Sunglasses - Camden Market - £5

A TASTE OF TRIBAL

Top 2 Tops - Topshop (how many top's in that sentence!)

Bottom 2 Tops - Zara

All 3 Necklaces - Topshop

I felt as though my wardrobe needed some added colour and some full length tops which wouldn't have my belly out :) so here we have it - I cant decide which one I love more - I get too in love with clothes, I know!!

All Items Above - New Look

I bought each crop top to go with the floor length orange maxi skirt as I loved the skirt so much!
BUT IM STILL YET TO WEAR IT :( Sun please come out!!

Looks great with a chunky necklace and some sandals.

Shirt - Topshop

ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS!

Plus I know two other girls who have it and love it too - I have to say, I did copy them!!

All 3 Crop Tops - New Look

I know you may think I am very strange, but when I first bought just the Lime top I wanted to literally wear it out all the time, with everything I had - but my flat mates told me off. So the next time I was in New Look I thought f**k it, and bought the same in Blue and Peach so now I have 3 different choices!!

Both Tops - Urban Outfitters

Left - Lemon Crop Top - Topshop

Right - Aztec Print Long Sleeved Crop Top - New Look

Bottom - High Neck Lime and Silver Crop Top - Topshop

MATCHING SUITS

Top and Skirt - New Look Shepherds Bush Westfields

Now I'm not one to look like a supermodel in trousers, so when the new craze of matching pants and tops/blazers came onto the scene I was gutted!

However I managed to spot this high waisted skirt and crop top to match, although most people have mistaken it for a dress, and I fell in love!!

I have had so many compliments about the skirt singularly and the outfit together - most don't believe that its a New Look number, and neither would I!

Top Image - Banana Skirt - Topshop Oxford Street

Bottom Image - Floral Cream Skirt - Topshop Oxford Street

The cream floral skirt was actually bought while waiting for the banana skirt to come into the shops. I saw the Banana skirt about a month ago on Topshop's instagram and just had to have it, but when I scoured the floors of Londons Oxford Street Topshop I couldn't find it anywhere. I was so sad :( but bought the cream one to cheer myself up!

The following week I went into the same store again, not expecting to buy anything, and I saw the Banana skirt and ran half the length of the store - Its safe to say some people wondered who had let me out of the loony bin!

I can definitely say that high waisted skirts are my calling, I just cant get enough!

GETTING PREPARED FOR SUMMER

I have to admit, I have WAY too many shorts. . . and I hardly ever actually wear shorts.
But never the less it doesn't stop me buying them over and over again! Luckily this time I went for some different styles, denim that don't have my bum hanging out and some patterned cotton ones :)

Both high waisted and both waiting for the sunshine to properly make an appearance!

HERE COMES SUMMER

Dress - Urban Outfitters

Necklace - New Look

Perfect for a spring or summers day, topped off with some sandals and a cute cardigan.

RETRO OUTFIT

Over sized Blazer - Urban Outfitters (Bought at a charity shop in Manchester)

Dress - Urban Outfitters

Necklace - New Look

Sunnies - Camden Market

All I have to say about this outfit is that I feel super cool wearing it :)
Plus the dress is SOOOO comfy!

I added some flat black ,lace up ankle boots from Topshop to top the look off!

I LOVE THIS OUTFIT!!

This is actually all new stuff and I am wearing it as we speak!

Jeans - Topshop - £38

Shirt (BEAUTIFUL) - Topshop - £40

This outfit is so summery, but still warm, so perfect for the weather at the moment.
Its also pretty girly which is rare for me!
I have to say the shirt is an absolute LOVE of this month

Black Nike Blazers - £63 (with student discount)

From Schuh Oxford Street

I have to state that I am a massive sucker for trainers, especially high tops - I do already own a red version of these, however I felt that black would go with more than my red ones do - and my excuse in my head was that I need them for work! :) THEY ARE SO COMFY!

These are my newest purchase - My beautiful Chelsea boots

Topshop - £75

I know they are pretty pricey, but they are gorgeous and will last (I hope) I've wanted some for ages.
If you're like me and the majority of your shoe collection is trainers, these babies are perfect for when the attire is a little more dressy!!

Love Livy x

    1. I would say the only way to create it and make it original is by trial and error! literally it took me ages to be happy with mine and even now I keep changing it up! Looking at switching some bits up over the next few weeks actually. Blogspot is pretty good, however works immensely quicker on an IMAC, I have trouble uploading and sizing my pictures using it on my old windows laptop!
Good luck and keep me posted on how you get on :)
