The Theme of a Triangle

Necklace Heaven

If I have no other excuse for writing on my blog other than having nothing to write about, then this should surely make up for it!!

Although I know this quirky new shape has been hitting the high street for quite a while now, I feel as though my personal collection of the triangle is very nearly complete!!
Today I wen't out and just couldn't resist buying about 3 necklaces in the same theme, so thats got to be something to share with you guys!
Whether you're looking to be small and descrete, or make it bold to stand out, the triangle caters for us all!

No 1. Jagged Edge

Jagged Edge is not for the faint hearted!
I came accross this beauty while shopping in Urban Outfitters today and although it cost more than I would usually pay for a necklace, at £18, I just couldn't leave her. I originally saw it on a mannequin when initially entering the store. It was matched with a blue chiffon long shirt which looked perfect for an understated dinner, or to be dolled up with heels for a long night out! It gives the finishing sparkle to any outfit, or adds a dangerous edge!

No 2. Spike

Spike is definitely THE necklace to have if you're looking to make a statement, however not the best thing to wear to your sisters wedding!!
Perfect for a night out to add some flash to your outfit, I personally think this one radiates in confidence as its quite a strong item to pull off!
I bought this baby from Topshop a couple of months ago and have worn it to dinners, nights out and just casual everyday wear. I stick to wearing darker colours with this necklace just because its blod enough to do the talking on its own, I think adding more POP would make the outfit go into overdrive. Saying this however, mish-mashing all your clothes together and being as bold as you can is the S/S '13 range, so if you feel confident enough DO IT!

No 3. A Point in the Right Direction

Although this necklace didn't scream out to me while wandering through New Look today, I feel that it fits both the descrete and the bold statement, depending on what you choose to pair it up with.
While its chunky enough to stand out against most colours, it doesn't have the sharp edges of the first 2 necklaces, and is therefore more understated.
The use of dented metal also makes the shine more matte, resulting in a less shiny finish and a less 'in-your-face' presentation.
For those of you who are on a budget with a good old student loan this necklace is perfect coming in at only £6.59 :) (plus their student disscount!!)

No 4. What's the Time

Okay, so I know this one doesn't exactly fit into the triangle theme, and I have posted about it before  . . . BUT IT IS AMAZING! I still wear this lovely item purchased from Urban Outfitters almost every day! I absolutely love it still - AND IT TELLS THE TIME (the real time)!!
Although the Cross-Hype is slowly coming to a halt, especially within the necklace region, I think most of you will agree that this beauty would sneek its way onto our jewellery stand!
Again this one was a perfect buy for me as it only came to about £6 in the sale SCORE!!

No 5. Less is More

If you're going for the descrete look but still want an addition to complete the outfit, while being in keeping with this seasons trends, the mini-triangle is perfect. Again another browse at Topshop, at only £7.50 its a keeper!
I think this is probably my most favourite, it can be added to absolutely any outfit and its so so cute! It also looks really good when being doubled up with other necklaces such as No.1, No.3 or No.4. The use of layering jewellery up is a great way to make your outfit more interesting and full!
